This notice explains how Direzione Marocco processes the personal data of people who visit this website or contact us for information or a travel proposal.
Data controller
The data controller is Direzione Marocco SARL, with its operational base in Rissani, Morocco. For any request concerning your data, you can contact us at:
- Email: direzionemarocco@gmail.com
- Telephone / WhatsApp: +39 339 2424336
Data we collect
- Contact form data: first name, surname, email address, telephone number, city of departure, travel period, number of travellers and ages of any children, tour of interest, and any other requests you choose to share.
- Email and WhatsApp: the data contained in messages you send us, including your name, telephone number, email address and the content of the conversation.
- Source data: to understand how you reached the website, campaign parameters (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content, utm_term), advertising click identifiers (gclid, fbclid), landing page and referring website may be recorded with your request.
- Technical data: the systems hosting the website automatically record technical information such as IP address, browser type, and date and time of requests, as required for security and operation.
- Analytics and advertising: with your separate consent for Analytics and Marketing, Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads may use their respective optional cookies and receive browsing data, the page visited and interactions (successful form submission and WhatsApp clicks; telephone and email clicks for analytics only), technical or cookie identifiers, and campaign data. Meta Pixel and OpenAI Pixel are loaded and may receive the corresponding events only with Marketing consent. Without the corresponding consent, optional cookies are neither read nor written, but Google may still receive limited cookieless technical signals through advanced Google Consent Mode for measurement and conversion modelling; these signals may include technical information about the request. We do not send your name, email address, telephone number or message text in events configured by this website.
Why we use your data and our legal basis
- To respond to your requests and prepare a travel proposal: processing is necessary to take steps at your request before entering into a possible contract.
- To manage your trip, if you decide to book: performance of the contract and compliance with legal obligations.
- To understand which channels generate enquiries (source data): our legitimate interest in improving communication in a proportionate way.
- Website security and operation (technical data): legitimate interest.
- Analytics and advertising: the use of optional cookies and more complete measurement through Google require the corresponding Analytics or Marketing consent, which you may withdraw at any time; Meta and OpenAI pixels require Marketing consent. Even without the corresponding consent, Google may receive limited cookieless technical signals through advanced Consent Mode for measurement and conversion modelling.
How long we keep your data
We keep data only for as long as necessary for the purpose for which it was collected. Enquiries that do not result in a trip are retained for the time needed to manage the conversation and any follow-up you request. Data relating to completed trips is retained for the period required by administrative and tax obligations. Technical data is retained for short periods unless security needs require otherwise.
Who may receive your data
We do not sell personal data. It may be processed by suppliers that help us provide the service, such as hosting, email and messaging services including WhatsApp. If you arrange a trip with us, it may also be shared with local partners involved in providing the services, such as accommodation providers, drivers and guides, only to the extent necessary.
With the corresponding Analytics or Marketing consent, Google (Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads) uses cookies and receives data for statistics, enquiry measurement and advertising optimisation. Even without the corresponding consent, Google may receive limited cookieless technical signals through advanced Consent Mode for measurement and conversion modelling, which may include technical information about the request. Meta and OpenAI receive events through their respective pixels only with Marketing consent, for campaign measurement and, according to each platform’s settings, advertising; without that consent their pixels are not loaded. You may refuse or withdraw consent at any time through “Cookie preferences” in the footer. The change applies to new events and does not erase processing already carried out.
International transfers
Direzione Marocco operates in Morocco, and some technology providers may process data outside the European Union. In these cases, transfers rely on safeguards provided by applicable law, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses, or take place because they are necessary to respond to your travel request.
Your rights
You may ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its processing, object to processing based on legitimate interest, receive your data in a portable format, and withdraw any consent you have given without affecting processing already carried out. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority, such as the Italian Data Protection Authority.
